Because the film industry is a fickle and rapidly changing machine that likes something different from one week to the next, I do not offer studio script coverage, which usually takes place within agencies and production companies. In studio script coverage, a script is “graded” based on a checklist of items, and the writer is given a “pass” (which is a rejection), “consider” (which means the script has strengths but needs some work’), or “recommend” (which means production should proceed).

My specialty is in storytelling, and the services I offer are in the interest of helping you tell the best story possible and to clean up your script so it presents as a professional piece of writing, including standard industry formatting requirements.

Typical turnaround is two days to two weeks, depending on the project and my workload.

What the process of working with me will look like:

1. If you think you would like to work with me, please email me with the
following information:

• Title of your script
• Length of your script
• Program you used to write your script
• Your script’s concept/plot (what it’s about)
• Where you are in the writing process (which draft are you on?)
• The service(s) you would like to purchase from me
• What your intentions are for the script when it’s finished (indie production (do you have a producer in mind or lined up?), Hollywood option, or festival submission)

2. I will check my workload to see if I can take on your project and will respond within 48 hours.

3. If I’m able to take on your project, I will send you an agreement to peruse, which will detail services to be provided and time frame for completion. We will discuss these during a free 15-minute introduction consultation (phone or Skype) so I can answer your questions.

Below are the services I offer for shorts (5-30 pages), short features, (50-70 pages), and features (90-120 pages).

*I work in Final Draft, so if your screenplay has been written as a Word document, there will be an additional and significant charge for re-formatting, as it will have to be re-typed word-for-word.
