BOOK PROPOSALS

“Aim high, and you won’t shoot your foot off.”
Phyllis Diller

PROPOSAL SERVICES are offered by Holly Lorincz, owner of Lorincz Literary Services and a one-time literary agent with MacGregor Literary, where she was mentored by the top-ranked agent in the nation. She has written a book on the subject and teaches proposal writing at conferences. Her proposals meet industry standards while also grabbing the attention of acquisition editors. She is in a unique position to know how to present your material in the strongest marketing light possible, coming at the project as an industry professional, an editor, and a published writer.

Holly can usually schedule a proposal within 2-6 weeks, with a turnaround time of generally 7-14 days.

You will notice our fees are extremely competitive—for more information about industry-standard rates, see the Editorial Freelance Association. We focus quality time on your projects, but we are also realistic and empathetic to the economic fluctuations in a writer’s world.
